She was friendly, got us a refund and got us into our beautiful room right away. Shannon at the front desk made the situation so much better. Having been up all night I was not willing to wait another two hours for a shuttle so we took a costly $60 taxi to the hotel. Told it would now be 2pm before they could get us. Nothing passed us, no one ever stopped to call our names or my phone and yet when I called at 1220pm they said they had been there and left and tried to call but cell wasn’t going through. I was told a black suv would pick me up with a sign that had their hotel name. I clarified where I would stand by this sign. I called the hotel and they told me it was actually going to be at noon.
We stood outside by a giant purple shuttle pick up sign and no one came. However we booked a shuttle from the airport for 11:05 am. I kept in contact with Ashley on the phone and she was great and even removed that night from our bill though it was quite late when we had to cancel.
Before arriving our plane had been delayed and we lost one night. I wish I could give it a great review as hotel rooms are great and we experienced some amazing service but there are just so many missing details and communication issues this is why the three star review.
